Happy Retales Pet Supply and More, a pet retail and grooming shop in Brentwood, TN, was founded eleven years ago with the mission of providing funds for animal rescue and adoption.  In fact, 100% of the store’s profits are donated to animal rescue.

In 2018, the store is expanding their support to new organizations to spread the love further than ever before. The partnered organizations will each receive support, promotion and a guaranteed monthly donation. In return, each rescue will promote Happy Retales events and provide volunteers to work in the store.

Happy Retales has chosen six local rescues to work with in 2018:

  • Middle Tennessee Boxer Rescue
  • Nashville Pittie
  • Snooty Giggles
  • Adopt a Golden
  • Crossroads Campus
  • Compassion in Action

In addition, Happy Retales will work with the Pet Community Center to support its new spay and neuter clinic in Nashville.

Middle Tennessee Boxer Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue focused on rescue, re-home, and education of the Boxer breed in Middle Tennessee since 1990. Phone Number: (629) 777-4001

Nashville PITTIE is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to provide advocacy, education and rescue; as well as assist the community with Spay and Neuter.

Our founder, Jana Mandes, speaks as to the reasons she began the organization. We believe that no dog should suffer the injustice of discrimination, neglect, or abuse.  To that end, Nashville PITTIE works to restore the Pit bull’s positive image, through education, promoting responsible ownership, and spay/neuter programs. Phone Number: (615) 287-4275

Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue is an all breed foster based rescue. Though SGDR takes in all types of dogs in need, their passion and focus are dogs with special needs, medical cases, seniors, and hospice. Their goal is to educate and inform in hopes of taking the fear out of committing to such dogs. Never be afraid to love something special!

Adopt a Golden Nashville is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, evaluation, and placement of abandoned or unwanted golden retrievers. Our mission is to promote the understanding, appreciation, and care of canines among the general public through education about responsible pet ownership. Since our founding in 1998, Adopt a Golden Nashville has rescued over 2600 dogs. Phone Number: (615) 596-PAWS (7297

Crossroads Campus is a Nashville nonprofit that uses the healing power of the human-animal bond to help people and animals in need. We do that through innovative programs that provide humane education, job training and affordable housing for young people and adoptions for homeless animals. Phone Number: (615) 712-9758

Compassion in Action of TN is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that aims to take direct action in several ways.  We assist animals in need either through our adoption/foster program or our TNR program.  We provide education and public awareness of the animal welfare issues affecting our communities. Phone Number: (615) 414-0451

Our goal is to help end pet overpopulation and strengthen the bond between people and their pets.  Pet Community Center’s goal is to make Nashville a community that provides live outcomes for all healthy and treatable shelter animals – with the result being a 90 percent live release rate at the Metro Nashville animal shelter.  Phone Number: (615) 512-5001
